I´VE ALWAYS BEEN CRAZY: A TRIBUTE TO WAYLON JENNINGS heißt die CD Sowohl Waylon Jennings Witwe Jessi Colter wie auch der Sohn des Verstorbenen, Shooter Jennings (und dessen Band Stargunn), liefern Aufnahmen für das Album. "The Dream" heißt eine der letzten Aufnahmen, die Waylon Jennings gemacht hat. Ferner singen und spielen: Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney mit Kid Rock, Sara Evans mit Deana Carter, Andy Griggs, Ben Harper, Metallica´s James Hetfield, Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp, die Gruppe Pinmonkey, Travis Tritt, Phil Vassar mit Rob Thomas, Hank Williams Jr. und Dwight Yoakam.
